Medical Marijuana_Eye Health Tip_Mandel VisionMedical marijuana cannot replace your glaucoma medication. Studies have shown that marijuana does lower intraocular pressure (IOP), however only for short periods of time.  IOP needs around the clock control in order to prevent damage to the optic nerve, which could eventually lead to blindness if not managed properly.

Fluent in Korean, Gabrielle has worked in ophthalmology since 2001 and was originally hired as a translator for our Korean patients in 2004. It was evident from the start of her employment with Mandel Vision that Gabrielle was extremely bright and she was soon promoted. She is now our lead laser room technician.
