Here’s what’s happening at Mandel Vision in November!

It’s Flex Spending Time!

Flexible Spending 2014_Mandel Vision LASIK New YorkIf you’re thinking about LASIK and are lucky enough to have an FSA (Flexible Spending Account), you’ll need to contribute to the account soon in order to use those dollars in 2016.  FSA’s allow employees to set aside tax-free dollars that can be used to pay for some out-of-pocket healthcare costs.  LASIK is one of the many procedures that can be paid for with FSA dollars. However, we suggest you plan ahead.  FSA is a ‘use it or lose it’ type of thing. So, don’t put money in for LASIK until you know you’re a candidate.

Are You Prepared
for e-Prescribing?
e prescribing Mandel VisionA new law, which will go into effect in March of 2016, mandates that all New York State Physicians e-prescribe. This means that paper scripts will no longer be accepted. If you haven’t already filled out our e-prescribe form, please do so now.  This will ensure that we are able to prescribe for you in the future, without delays.
